qb-Domus

Cookie policy

Last updated: 17/10/2026

This page explains how qb-Domus, a service by Pragmatica.ai, uses cookies and similar storage technologies on its public website, which categories are active and how you can manage or withdraw your consent at any time.

Data controller and contacts

The data controller is Pragmatica.ai. For any request regarding cookies or personal data you can write to [email protected].

The processing of personal data is described in our Privacy policy, reachable from the site footer.

What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user’s device. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage), perform comparable functions. qb-Domus uses these technologies both to make the site work and, with your consent, for statistical measurement.

Technical (necessary) cookies and technologies

These tools are essential for the site to work and to keep it secure, and do not require consent.

  • Cookie-preference storage: your choice is saved in the browser’s local storage (key “qb-cookie-consent”) to remember whether you enabled or disabled analytics cookies. It is not sent to third parties.
  • ALTCHA: an open-source security check hosted on our site to protect forms from abuse and automated traffic. Verification uses a computation on your device, without cookies, profiling or third-party CAPTCHA services.

Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-PDLHQP0WPG) to understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used and to improve the experience.

Analytics cookies are off by default: Google Analytics is loaded and executed only after the user gives explicit consent for the “Analytics” category. The preference is granular (independent on/off) and can be withdrawn at any time from the “Cookie preferences” panel available in the footer. On withdrawal, data collection is disabled.

Google Analytics is not loaded in the site’s administration (Admin) area.

qb-Domus does not use Google Analytics for advertising purposes: no advertising, remarketing or Google Signals features are enabled.

  • _ga — used to distinguish users through an identifier.
  • _ga_PDLHQP0WPG — used to keep the measurement session state.

Data retention in Google Analytics 4

The qb-Domus Google Analytics property is configured with the following retention periods:

  • event data: 2 months;
  • user data: 14 months;
  • reset user-data retention on new activity: enabled.

Cookie lifetime vs. data retention

The analytics cookies _ga and _ga_PDLHQP0WPG have a default lifetime of up to 2 years; they are however removed if you clear cookies in your browser or if you do not give (or you withdraw) consent.

Cookie lifetime is a concept distinct from the Google Analytics 4 data-retention periods listed above: the former concerns how long the file stays on your device, the latter how long the data is retained in Google Analytics systems.

Managing and withdrawing consent

You can change your preferences at any time through the “Cookie preferences” panel available in the site footer. You can also manage or delete cookies from your browser settings.

Cookies and storage actually used

Below are the items actually observed on the site:

  • Before consent: no analytics cookies; only the technical local storage necessary for the site to function is used.
  • With Analytics on: _ga and _ga_PDLHQP0WPG cookies (Google Analytics 4) and the “qb-cookie-consent” preference in the browser local storage.
  • With Analytics off or withdrawn: collection is disabled; any _ga cookies already present remain until they expire or until you delete them from your browser.
